	pray for me. there are plenty of people in the world whose needs are more serious than my own, but i'm at a place in my life where i'm quickly giving up hope. and when it goes, it tends to take everything else good with it.

haha, that's okay. no one event really set anything off--it's been more of a process. for instance, one of the things i'm losing faith in overall is humanity (that sounds super cliche', but it's true). this has been a gradual thing, the more i realize that the general population would rather find someone to blame than look to take responsibility for their own lives, would rather look to someone or something to fix all their problems than try to make changes to themselves that would better their own lives and the lives of others, would, simply, rather hate everybody than try to love and look for the good in people. (this is manifested in politics, but it's about far more than just that.) i realize this is a very pessimistic view, but i'm seeing far too much of it, and it seems to be getting worse instead of better.
